Shared Creative Vision

The Lutheran Hospital project began as a competition. We were selected because our concept was a continuation of the client’s vision of shape, light, color, and creating an impactful, positive experience from the moment people enter the hospital.

Project Scope

We began the creative process by looking at the architectural plan and coordinated our suspended piece to mirror the shapes of their design.

The object we call Interlace was inspired by the organic shape of the space where the piece would be suspended.  The light coming into the 2-story atrium was a key factor in our design.

This was an incredible creative opportunity and it was our pleasure to provide 3 different concepts for the committee to consider in making their decision.

The committee appreciated having prototypes to observe during our presentation.

We’re proud to say that the LYNNEL team effort, in coordination with Lutheran Hospital’s vision, was a success of grand proportion.

Shared Creative Vision

The design team envisioned using LYNNEL’s original artwork in unique ways to create a cohesive aesthetic throughout the center.

The design needed to create a welcoming and soothing environment for patients, their families and clinic staff.

Project Scope

Three distinct artworks were selected and color modified to work together, as well as work with the finishes throughout the building.

To accommodate the architectural requirements of the main feature wall a large-scale panorama was created from original artwork.   Images were cropped to work with the divider panel and back-lit panel specifications, without losing integrity of the aesthetic value.

Working with the client on different options for opacity we achieved the ideal degree for their desired level of privacy and light transmission.

The Behavioral Health and Wellness Clinic is a beautifully designed facility that showcases how art and design can successfully blend. The collaboration between LYNNEL and Mohagen Hansen was key to the successful outcome.
