Headwalls & Footwalls

LYNNEL headwalls and footwalls are an ideal way to add colorful, calming artwork to hospital patient rooms. Artwork can be customized to enhance a room’s overall aesthetic. Glass or acrylic panels are durable and easy to install.

Specifications:

¼” regular tempered glass with backings
¼” low-iron tempered glass with backings
¼” clear acrylic with backings
image printed to second surface of substrate
wide headwalls can be installed as more than one piece
returns wider than 4” can be added

Installation:

Panels adhered directly to wall with a top and bottom capture (permanent)
Fixed or mounted to wall with studs and standoff caps (removable)

Production:

Production of submittal samples will begin when:

quote is signed, and
deposit is received, and
artwork has been selected and approved
submittal samples take about 2 – 3 weeks

Production of final panels will begin when:

submittal samples are approved, and
final VIF or build-to dimensions are confirmed
final panels take about 5-6 weeks
information about a forklift, pallet jack, loading dock on receiving end required

Anschutz Medical Campus

Our initial work in creating a welcoming environment for people experiencing the hospital conference center influenced our continued work to create headwalls throughout the hospital. Keeping with a mountain landscape theme, we used a variety of images to give personality to each floor. The headwalls became a branding model for the entire hospital.
